This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service business operating system platform, including our web application and mobile applications for iOS and Android ("Service").

Mobile Application Permissions

Our mobile applications request certain device permissions to provide full functionality. Here is how we use each permission:

Location Services

We request access to your device's location (including background location) to show nearby jobs, provide directions to job sites, and enable automatic check-in/check-out at job locations. Background location access allows the app to track job site visits even when the app is not actively in use. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.

Camera and Photo Library

We request camera access to capture job site photos, scan documents, and record visual documentation. Photo library access allows you to attach existing photos to jobs and upload documentation. Photos are stored securely and associated with your job records.

Contacts

We request contacts access to help you quickly add customers or crew members from your existing address book. We do not upload or store your entire contact list—only contacts you explicitly choose to add to Servos.

Calendar

We request calendar access to sync your scheduled jobs with your device calendar. This allows you to view job appointments alongside your other commitments. Calendar sync is optional and can be disabled at any time.

Microphone

We request microphone access to record voice messages and audio notes that can be attached to jobs. Audio recordings are stored securely and only accessible to authorized users in your organization.

Biometric Authentication

We support Face ID, Touch ID, and fingerprint authentication to provide secure, convenient access to the app. Biometric data never leaves your device and is not stored on our servers.

Push Notifications

We request permission to send push notifications for job updates, new messages, approval requests, and other time-sensitive information. You can manage notification preferences in your device settings or within the app.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our Service
  • Process transactions and send related information
  • Send you technical notices, updates, and support messages
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and requests

SMS Communications

When you provide your mobile phone number and opt-in to receive SMS messages, we may send you text messages about:

  • Account-related notifications (job updates, reminders, invoices)
  • Service-related communications (approval requests, status updates)
  • Conversational interactions with our AI agent ("Servo")

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out of SMS communications at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any SMS message
  • Updating your SMS preferences in your account settings

Mobile Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We only share mobile information with service providers as necessary to deliver SMS communications (such as Twilio, our SMS service provider). These service providers are contractually prohibited from using your mobile information for their own marketing purposes.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, SMS delivery)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and safety
